MORE SILVERWARE FOR BURNLEY
Burnley has been awarded the Community Club of the Year and Colum Cronin
has become the Community Coach of the Year
On friday the 24th of April Burnley swept the floor to win two of the most prestigious awards
in the sport community in Burnley.
Both winners will go to represent Burnley in the Lancashire presentation night in October
Seniors
Burnley Men's team have continued their series of good wins beating Preston Pride in the quarter
finals of the Manchester League. They are now in the Final Four for the Manchester League tielThe club has already got some
silverware in the cabinet having won the MABL Cup for the first time in their history.
BURNLEY U18'S
Burnley under 18's completed their Lancashire competition season finishing third. The season saw the team record some
good wins against Preston and Blackpool. However, injuries and time demands meant that team did well to achieve a thrid place.
Congratulations to all players particularly second year players such as Lewis, Dave, Steve, Shaun, Ben and Jamie. The team
will continue to train on wednesday and compete in the Lancashire Men's league at Hyndburn.
BURNLEY U 16'S
Burnley Under 16's 1 and 2 Teams enjoyed good performances
recently. Team 2 with help from some chorley players competed well with Blackpool first team and put in a strong
defensive performance. Team 1 had a good offensive display against Preston but lost narrowly.
Both teams will be looking for two more good performances before
the playoffs in May.
Under 14's CVL
The next CVL for the under 14's will be on the 5th April in
Burnley. The fixtures are as follows:

Burnley will be aiming for two wins to position them for the playoffs.
PENDLE U14
Pendle under 14's competed against Burnley under 14's recently. The newly
formed pendle team played with good skill, attitude and teamwork.
BURNLEY U12'S
Playing against often older players the young Burnley team have
shown great spirit to compete with strong Preston and Burnley Teams. The players who are new to the game have displayed teamwork
and effort that has made coach Sinclair very proud.
